Description

The Dermatome range is used in the surgical removal of damaged tissue and harvesting of “borrowed” tissue from a donor site during cosmetic procedures and reconstructive surgeries. The Dermatome blades are fitted into a handheld instrument that resembles an electric razor. The blade oscillates, and the back-and-forth motion will “evenly” skim off the surface layers of skin. Electric Dermatomes are preferable for cutting thinner, longer strips of skin with more uniform thickness.

Available in three sizes, a 25 mm single-segment (SM9943), a 50 mm two-segmental (SM9944), and a 75 mm three-segmental (SM9945), the blades are individually wrapped in foil packets and boxed in units of 10 pieces.

The blades are compatible with leading brands of Dermatome knives.
