Dermaplaning is a relatively new, yet growing procedure.  For this reason, the blade industry developed specialized blade shapes to enhance procedural safety. At Cincinnati Surgical, we offer blades size 10, 10R, and 14, designed by Swann-Morton specifically for this industry. The 10R is a rounded-tip blade, also referred to as the 10S or 10D blade.

Our finishing process is what makes these blades last longer than a typical razor-edge blade. Our dermaplaning blades are micro-serrated on one side to prevent hair from dulling the edge. Many razor-sharp blades are coated to avoid degradation, but the coating wears with each pass. The Swann Morton blades stay sharp, no coating needed.
