Cincinnati Surgical blades and handles are manufactured to industry standards with ISO certifications, which means the blade will correctly fit the handle every time. There should be no gap between the angled edge of the blade and the corresponding edge of the handle.
Poor handle fitment could lead to blade breakage. The more you know the more you can help your colleagues understand proper blade fit.

As a global leader in surgical blade manufacturing, we share in the world’s concern over the COVID-19 pandemic. Cincinnati Surgical will remain open and able to ship the surgical blades you need from our corporate office located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Our warehouses still have approximately 6 months of finished goods available. And our manufacturing facility is still in production adhering to a few new social distancing rules. While we do not manufacture the PPEs that are in high demand right now, surgical blades are still an essential medical tool that needs to remain available.
